Theatre Wellesley
We are an amateur theatre group in Wellesley, Ontario, alive & acting since 1997. We welcome new members and new audience with open arms. Each year we put on one production in November, with four performances.
We also host free workshops each spring, leading to June auditions, with new people always welcome. There are spots behind the scenes to be creative, whether that's painting the set, finding costumes, helping with props, marketing, producing and more. No experience necessary, will train.
We appreciate the support from our local businesses and community. Come out and have fun!
Spring workshop - Character development
With Amanda Bast
May 8th, 7:00 PM at the Wellesley Library (1137 Henry street West).
Spring workshop - Building the Scene
With Allan Strong
April 11th, 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Wellesley Library (1137 Henry street West).
We will develop skills on our physical presence on stage; staying in character,
how to contribute to the scene even when one has no lines, entering and
exiting and maintaining our energy on stage.
The workshops are a great way to get ready for the June auditions
Auditions
June 6th at 7:00 PM, and June 10th at 2:00 PM at the Wellesley library (1137 Henry street West).
Everyone welcome.
